Industrial PoE Networking for Space-Limited, Harsh Sites
The IES100-5P is a 5 Port Industrial PoE Switch built for field installations where ordinary office switches may not be a good fit. It provides five 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports, including four PoE+ ports for powering compatible cameras, wireless access points, intercoms, sensors, and other network devices. For installers working in control cabinets, roadside enclosures, production lines, or building service rooms, this 5 Port Industrial PoE Switch keeps the network and device power connection in one compact unit.
All ports support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation, half/full-duplex adaptation, and automatic MDI/MDI-X. That means technicians can use standard copper Ethernet cabling without spending time checking cable type or manually setting the link mode. Store-and-forward switching, a 1.2Gbps switching bandwidth, and line-speed forwarding help keep ordinary industrial data, video streams, and control traffic moving smoothly within the switch capacity. The 2K MAC address table is suitable for small automation cells, compact surveillance systems, and local building networks.
Four PoE+ Ports Without Manual Configuration
Ports 1 to 4 support IEEE 802.3af/at Standard PoE and deliver up to 25.4W per port. The switch checks whether a connected device supports PoE before applying power, helping protect non-PoE equipment from accidental power delivery. This is useful when a network cabinet contains a mix of cameras, uplink devices, sensors, and ordinary Ethernet terminals. As an unmanaged PoE switch, it works out of the box with no IP address, web interface, VLAN setup, or software license required. Connect the power, network cables, and powered devices, then check the link and PoE LEDs.
Designed for Cabinets, Machines, and Outdoor Edge Enclosures
This 4 Port PoE+ DIN-Rail Unmanaged switch uses a metal housing and fanless natural cooling, so there is no fan to replace and less dust drawn into the enclosure. Its operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C supports installations exposed to seasonal temperature changes, machinery heat, or unconditioned cabinets. IP40 protection, EMC protection designed to IEC Class A requirements, surge-related protection options, reverse-polarity protection, and overload protection address common risks in industrial power and signal wiring.
The dual redundant DC power input accepts 12V to 58V DC through a 6-pin Phoenix terminal. If one power feed is interrupted, the second feed can help maintain operation when the site power design is configured accordingly. This arrangement is practical for traffic control cabinets, factory automation panels, access control systems, and monitoring points where a restart may require a service visit. DIN-rail mounting keeps the unit secure and leaves more cabinet space for controllers and terminal blocks.
A Practical Choice for Small Industrial Networks
For IT administrators, system integrators, and maintenance teams, this industrial PoE switch focuses on the basics that matter at the edge: simple deployment, reliable copper connectivity, local PoE power, and reduced cabinet maintenance. It is not intended for managed network functions such as VLAN or QoS configuration. Instead, it fits projects that need a compact 10/100Mbps PoE network switch with predictable operation and minimal setup. Typical applications include IP surveillance, industrial automation, traffic monitoring, building automation, security systems, and small machine-to-machine network segments.
