And because all eight PoE ports are isolated from each other, broadcast storms won’t jump between cameras – they only communicate through the two gigabit uplink ports (ports 9-10). This isolation keeps the network stable even with dozens of cameras streaming simultaneously.
For small to medium hotels, retail shops, supermarkets, or residential complexes with 8-16 cameras, this switch is a straightforward, no-configuration solution. Plug in the cameras, connect the uplink to your main router or NVR, select the voltage that matches your devices, and you’re live. The metal shell dissipates heat passively (no fan noise), and the external power adapter keeps the unit slim enough for desktop or shelf placement.
