Industrial PoE connectivity for remote and harsh-site networks
The IES100-6P2F is an Unmanaged 6 Port Industrial PoE Switch with 2 SC Optical Uplink Ports, built for sites where network equipment must keep running with limited access and changing conditions. It provides six 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports for PoE cameras, wireless access points, intercoms, sensors, and other Ethernet-powered devices. Two 100Base-X SC fiber ports extend the network beyond the normal copper limit and provide a practical link between field cabinets, control rooms, buildings, or production areas.
For installers and IT teams, the main benefit is straightforward deployment. Connect the DC power, fiber uplink, and Ethernet devices, and the switch starts forwarding traffic without software setup. The copper ports automatically negotiate 10/100Mbps, support auto MDI/MDI-X, and work in half- or full-duplex mode. Store-and-forward switching with line-rate forwarding helps keep ordinary monitoring, control, and access traffic moving without adding configuration work to a small industrial network.
PoE power without unnecessary field wiring
Each of the six RJ45 ports supports IEEE 802.3af/at Standard PoE and can provide up to 25.4W to a compatible powered device. The switch checks whether a connected device meets the PoE standard before applying power, helping protect non-PoE equipment during installation or later maintenance. This is useful for IP surveillance and access-control projects where power and data need to reach devices through one cable. The 10/100Mbps copper connection is suitable for many cameras, wireless bridges, sensors, and building automation terminals; confirm the device power requirement before deployment.
The two SC optical uplink ports are suited to longer cable routes and electrically separated locations. Depending on the selected optical interface and fiber, the link can support multimode distances up to 2km or single-mode distances from 2km to 100km. This gives system integrators room to match the switch with existing fiber infrastructure instead of installing new copper runs across a plant, road corridor, or multi-building site.
Designed for cabinets, roadside boxes, and plant floors
Industrial installations often face heat, cold, dust, vibration, electrical noise, and unstable power conditions. This industrial DIN-rail PoE switch uses a fanless metal housing and natural cooling, so there is no fan to replace or clean. Its rated operating range of -40°C to +85°C supports outdoor cabinets, factory floors, traffic-control enclosures, and other areas without air conditioning. IP40 housing, EMC protection, surge protection options, overload protection, and reverse-polarity protection add practical safeguards during field operation.
Dual redundant DC inputs support 44-58VDC and allow the switch to remain connected to two independent power sources. If one input is interrupted, the second supply can help maintain network availability, making the design suitable for control cabinets and monitoring systems where a local power fault should not bring down every connected device. The low minimum power consumption also helps reduce heat inside compact enclosures.
A practical fit for industrial Ethernet projects
This 6 Port Industrial PoE Switch with 2 SC Optical Uplink Ports is intended for system integrators, plant engineers, road and tunnel contractors, building automation teams, and network technicians who need a compact switch with PoE and fiber reach but do not need VLAN, QoS, or cloud management. DIN-rail mounting, clear link and PoE indicators, plug-and-play operation, and a three-year warranty simplify installation and service work. Typical applications include IP camera networks, industrial IoT gateways, road traffic control, access control, building monitoring, and small data-center or equipment-room extensions.
