Industrial PoE Connectivity for Small Field Networks
The IES200-4P1F is a 4 Port Industrial PoE Switch with 1 Gigabit Uplink Port DIN Rail designed for IP cameras, wireless access points, intercoms, access control terminals and other PoE devices installed outside a standard server room. It provides four 10/100Mbps PoE RJ45 ports for endpoint connections and one 1000Base-X SFP slot for a fiber uplink to a control room, aggregation switch or remote network cabinet.
For installers and network operators, the main benefit is straightforward deployment. The switch works as an unmanaged PoE switch, so there is no web interface or software configuration to maintain. Connect the DC power, insert the suitable SFP transceiver, and attach the powered devices. Each RJ45 port supports IEEE 802.3af/at and can supply up to 30W. The switch checks whether a connected device supports PoE before applying power, which helps protect ordinary Ethernet equipment such as laptops, sensors or non-PoE controllers.
Practical Controls for Difficult Cabling Conditions
A three-position DIP switch provides field-useful options rather than settings that are rarely touched. The 10M mode can extend copper transmission to up to 250m when the cable and endpoint conditions are suitable. VLAN mode isolates T1-T4 from one another while allowing each port to reach the SFP uplink. This is useful for camera networks where one faulty or compromised endpoint should not directly communicate with another. AI_PoE enables an intelligent watchdog function that can help recover a connected PoE device when communication or device operation becomes abnormal, reducing the need for a site visit.
All Ethernet ports support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation, full- or half-duplex operation and automatic MDI/MDI-X. Store-and-forward switching, a 2.8Gbps non-blocking backplane and line-rate forwarding keep local traffic moving without adding unnecessary configuration work. For a small surveillance system, access-control network or industrial sensor segment, this gives technicians a simple way to connect field devices while carrying traffic over a longer fiber run.
Built for Cabinets, Control Panels and Outdoor Enclosures
The aluminum alloy housing uses natural heat dissipation, avoiding a fan that could collect dust or become a maintenance item. The switch operates from -40°C to 85°C and tolerates 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for roadside cabinets, factory production areas, transportation infrastructure and unconditioned equipment boxes. Power input accepts DC44-57V through dual redundant power connections. If one supply path is interrupted, the second can keep the switch online, provided the external power arrangement is correctly designed.
Surge protection is provided on both power and data lines, including up to ±2kV differential and ±4kV common-mode protection for power, plus ±6kV differential and common-mode protection for data. These provisions support more dependable operation in electrically noisy installations, although proper grounding, cable routing and site-level surge protection remain important.
The compact 139 × 109 × 48mm enclosure supports desktop, wall-mount and standard DIN-rail installation. It suits small and medium industrial deployments where a rack switch is excessive but a basic office switch lacks the temperature range, power redundancy and mounting flexibility required on site. Choose this industrial DIN-rail PoE switch when you need four powered copper ports, a Gigabit fiber uplink and low-touch operation in a compact enclosure.
