Industrial PoE Connectivity for Harsh Operating Conditions
The IES300-2P2F is a 2 Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch with 2 SC Fiber Ports, built for sites where ordinary office switches are not a safe fit. It combines two 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports with two 1.25G 1000Base-X SC fiber ports, giving installers a practical way to connect local PoE devices and extend the network over fiber. The switch is unmanaged, so there is no software setup or IP address configuration to deal with during installation.
For IP cameras, wireless access points, intercoms, access controllers, and other IEEE 802.3af/at devices, each RJ45 port can supply up to 25.4W. The switch checks whether a connected device supports standard PoE before applying power. This protects non-PoE equipment from accidental power delivery and keeps small deployments easier to maintain. Auto-negotiation supports 10Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1000Mbps connections, while auto MDI/MDI-X removes the need to worry about straight-through or crossover cables.
Fiber Uplinks That Keep Remote Devices Connected
The two SC fiber ports provide a clean way to link cameras, controllers, or field cabinets across longer distances than copper cabling allows. Depending on the selected optical module or fiber specification, the link can cover up to 550m or 2km over multimode fiber, and 2km to 100km over single-mode fiber. This makes the switch suitable for road intersections, production lines, warehouse yards, building automation, and distributed monitoring systems where electrical noise or long cable runs can create trouble for copper links.
Line-speed forwarding and store-and-forward switching help move surveillance video, control data, and management traffic without adding unnecessary configuration work. The 16K MAC address table and 2M packet buffer give the switch enough room for typical small industrial networks, while 10K jumbo frame support can assist compatible devices handling larger data transfers.
Designed for Field Cabinets and Industrial Panels
Power availability is often a bigger concern than bandwidth in a roadside cabinet or factory control box. The switch accepts 44-58V DC input and supports dual redundant power connections through a 6-core Phoenix terminal. Overload protection and reverse-polarity protection reduce installation risk, especially when maintenance teams replace equipment under time pressure. Surge protection, ESD resistance, and IEC Class A EMC performance help the switch stay online near motors, relays, and other sources of electrical interference.
Its fanless metal housing uses natural cooling, so there is no fan to clog with dust or fail unexpectedly. The DIN-Rail form factor saves panel space, and the 139mm × 108mm × 50mm enclosure fits common industrial control cabinets. A -40°C to +85°C operating range supports outdoor cabinets, unconditioned plant areas, and other locations with wide temperature changes. With a rated MTBF of 100,000 hours and a 3-year warranty, this industrial PoE switch is a sensible choice for network installers, system integrators, IT administrators, and operations teams that need straightforward deployment and predictable long-term service.
