Industrial PoE Connectivity for Remote and Harsh-Site Networks
The IMC300-2P1F is a 2 Port Industrial Gigabit PoE Media Converter with SC Fiber Port, built for network links where standard office switches are not a good fit. It combines two 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports with one 1.25G 1000Base-X SC fiber port, giving installers a practical way to connect powered devices at the edge and carry data over long-distance fiber to a control room, server room, or aggregation switch.
This unmanaged industrial PoE media converter is designed for straightforward deployment. There is no web interface, software setup, or switch configuration to maintain. Connect the DC power, fiber link, and Ethernet devices, and the unit starts forwarding traffic through store-and-forward switching. Auto-negotiation supports 10Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1000Mbps copper connections, while auto MDI/MDI-X removes the need to worry about cable type during installation. For maintenance teams, this means fewer configuration steps and less time spent troubleshooting a small edge cabinet.
PoE Power for Cameras, Access Points, and Edge Devices
Both RJ45 ports support IEEE 802.3af/at Standard PoE and can deliver up to 25.4W per port. The switch checks whether a connected device supports the PoE standard before applying power, helping protect ordinary Ethernet equipment from accidental PoE output. This makes the unit suitable for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, intercoms, industrial sensors, and other compliant powered devices. With two PoE ports, it works well in compact roadside cabinets, machine areas, gatehouses, building automation panels, and small monitoring points where a larger industrial PoE switch would add unnecessary cost and wiring.
Fiber Uplink for Long-Distance Industrial Links
The SC fiber port supports multimode or single-mode fiber options. Depending on the selected optical module and fiber type, the link can cover up to 550m or 2km over multimode fiber, and 2km to 100km over single-mode fiber. This gives network planners more room to separate cameras or controllers from the main switching location, reduce copper distance, and avoid electromagnetic interference along factory floors, traffic corridors, and utility infrastructure. SC, FC, or SFP interface options may be available by configuration; confirm the required optical interface and transmission distance before ordering.
Built for Cabinets with Heat, Dust, and Electrical Noise
The metal DIN-rail enclosure uses fanless natural cooling, so there is no fan to collect dust or become a routine maintenance item. Its operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C supports outdoor cabinets, industrial control panels, and unconditioned equipment rooms. Dual redundant DC power inputs from 44V to 58V allow the device to remain connected to two independent power sources, while overload protection and reverse-polarity protection reduce installation risk. Imported surge protection devices, IEC Class A EMC protection, and optional IEC 61000-4-5 surge performance help the switch handle electrical noise and transient conditions commonly found in industrial and transportation sites.
With a compact 139 × 108 × 50mm metal housing, IP40 protection, low power consumption, and a stated MTBF of 100,000 hours, the IMC300-2P1F is easy to place inside a control cabinet without taking up much space. It is a sensible choice for IT administrators, system integrators, and industrial maintenance teams that need stable PoE access, a dependable Gigabit fiber link, and simple plug-and-play operation rather than a feature-heavy managed switch.
