Industrial PoE Networking for Tough Sites
The IES300-4P1F is an unmanaged 4 Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch with 1 SC Fiber Port, built for installations where ordinary office switches may struggle. It connects four PoE devices over copper and extends the network through a 1.25G SC fiber link. Because the switch works without configuration, installers can mount it, connect the power and network cables, and bring the system online without spending time on software setup.
This design fits IP surveillance, roadside cabinets, industrial automation lines, building control systems, and small monitoring rooms. For example, a traffic control cabinet can use the four Gigabit PoE ports for cameras or access devices while the SC fiber port carries traffic back to a control center. In a factory, the same arrangement can link field devices to an industrial backbone while keeping copper runs within the normal 100-meter Ethernet limit.
Power Delivery Without Extra Adapters
Each RJ45 port supports IEEE 802.3af/at Standard PoE and can provide up to 25.4W. The switch checks whether a connected device supports the PoE standard before applying power, helping protect non-PoE equipment such as laptops, ordinary network controllers, or service tools. This removes the need to install separate power adapters beside compatible cameras, wireless access points, intercoms, and other powered Ethernet devices.
All four copper ports negotiate 10/100/1000Mbps automatically and support full- or half-duplex operation, auto MDI/MDI-X, and line-rate forwarding. For an IT administrator, this means fewer cable-type concerns during deployment and a practical way to connect mixed-speed devices without manual port settings. Store-and-forward switching, a 16K MAC address table, 2MB packet buffer, and support for jumbo frames up to 10KB help the switch handle normal surveillance and control traffic without adding unnecessary configuration work.
Fiber Uplink for Distance and Electrical Separation
The 1.25G 1000Base-X SC fiber port supports multimode transmission up to 550m or 2km, depending on the selected fiber specification. Single-mode options support distances from 2km to 100km. Fiber is useful when copper cannot cover the required distance, when separate buildings need to be connected, or when electrical isolation is important between a field cabinet and the main network. The SC interface also makes the switch a straightforward choice for projects that already use SC fiber patching and termination.
Made for Cabinets, Plants, and Outdoor Infrastructure
The metal DIN-rail enclosure uses fanless natural cooling, so there is no fan to collect dust or become a routine replacement item. It operates from -40°C to +85°C, with dual redundant DC power inputs from 44V to 58V. Overload protection and reverse-polarity protection help reduce avoidable downtime during field maintenance. Imported surge protection components, EMC protection, and resistance to electrostatic, electrical fast transient, vibration, shock, and free-fall conditions support dependable operation in industrial installations. The IP40 housing is intended for protected cabinets and control enclosures rather than direct exposure to rain or washdown.
With dimensions of 139 × 108 × 50mm and a weight below 0.6kg, the switch fits compact control panels while leaving room for cable routing. Power and link LEDs provide a quick first check during service: green power indication, yellow Gigabit link/activity indication, green PoE status, and a fiber status indicator. For small and medium industrial networks that need simple PoE access, long-distance fiber connectivity, and reduced maintenance, this 4 Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch with 1 SC Fiber Port offers a practical, install-and-run solution.
