Industrial PoE networking for demanding sites
The IES300-8P1F is an unmanaged 8 Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch with 1 SC Fiber Uplink, built for network points where ordinary office switches may not be a good fit. It connects up to eight Ethernet devices at 10/100/1000Mbps and provides power over the same network cable, while the 1.25G SC fiber port extends the link beyond the usual copper limit. For installers and maintenance teams, this means fewer separate power adapters, less cabling around the cabinet, and a cleaner deployment.
Each RJ45 port supports IEEE 802.3af/at Standard PoE and can deliver up to 25.4W. The switch checks whether a connected device supports the PoE standard before applying power, so a regular Ethernet device can be connected without being treated as a powered device. This is useful for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, industrial sensors and other endpoint equipment. With 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation, half/full-duplex adaptation and automatic MDI/MDI-X, the installation team does not need to spend time matching port settings or crossover cables.
Designed for field cabinets and control panels
Industrial networks often face heat, cold, electrical noise and unstable power conditions. This DIN-rail industrial PoE switch uses a metal housing, fanless natural cooling and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The fanless design avoids a moving part that can collect dust or fail, while also keeping maintenance simple in roadside cabinets, factory floors and building control rooms. IP40 protection, IEC Class A electromagnetic compatibility and optional surge protection help the switch remain dependable where equipment is exposed to interference or induced voltage.
Dual redundant DC power input accepts 44V to 58V and includes overload protection and reverse-polarity protection. If one supply path fails, the second can keep the network running, helping reduce avoidable downtime in traffic control, industrial automation and security monitoring systems. The six-core Phoenix terminal provides a practical connection method for control cabinets and dedicated DC power systems.
Simple deployment, predictable operation
As an unmanaged Gigabit PoE switch, the IES300-8P1F works without software configuration, IP address setup or ongoing license cost. Connect the fiber uplink, plug in the PoE endpoints and the switch starts forwarding traffic. Store-and-forward switching, a 20Gbps switching capacity, 14.88Mpps forwarding performance, a 16K MAC address table and a 10KB jumbo frame support provide sufficient traffic handling for small industrial networks and distributed monitoring systems.
The SC fiber uplink supports single-mode or multimode options depending on the selected transceiver configuration. Multimode links can reach up to 550m or 2km, while single-mode versions are available for longer distances from 2km up to 100km. This makes the switch suitable for connecting remote control boxes, factory areas, parking facilities or roadside devices back to a central network room. The compact 139mm × 108mm × 50mm enclosure and weight below 0.6kg also make it easy to fit into crowded DIN-rail panels.
For small and medium-sized businesses, system integrators and network operators, this 8 port Gigabit industrial PoE switch offers a practical balance between power delivery, fiber reach and low-touch maintenance. It is a sensible choice when the network must keep working in a harsh environment without adding unnecessary management complexity.
