Built for IP Camera Deployments – No Configuration Needed

Setting up a surveillance system often means dealing with separate power cables, adapters, and the headache of running electricity to each camera. This 8 port PoE switch for IP cameras solves that in one box. It delivers both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to up to eight devices, using the standard IEEE 802.3af/at PoE protocol. Each port can output up to 25.4W – enough to drive most PTZ cameras, dome cameras, or even some wireless access points.

The switch is completely unmanaged. You plug in your cameras, connect the uplink to your router or NVR, and it starts forwarding frames at line speed (20Gbps backplane). There’s no web interface to configure, no VLANs to set up. For IT admins or small business owners who just want reliable camera feeds without spending hours on setup, this is a time-saver.

Hardware-wise, it uses a metal enclosure that acts as a heatsink, so there’s no fan to fail or make noise. The external power supply (DC 44-57V input) keeps the unit compact – 209 x 67 x 31 mm – and you can place it on a desktop or mount it on a wall. An optional AI watchdog (network self-healing) feature automatically reboots the switch if it detects a freeze, which is especially useful for remote camera sites where manual reset isn’t practical.

  • 8 PoE ports with automatic device detection – safe for non-PoE equipment
  • All 10 ports (8 PoE + 2 uplink) support 10/100/1000M and auto-MDI/MDI-X
  • Jumbo frame support (9KB) reduces CPU load on cameras sending large video files
  • Optional surge protection (6KV common / 4KV differential) for outdoor camera runs

This switch fits right into typical scenarios: small office with 4–8 IP cameras, a retail store covering entry and cash register areas, or a home garage monitoring setup. It’s also a solid choice for replacing old 100M PoE switches when you need gigabit throughput to avoid video lag.
