Industrial PoE switching for compact field networks
The IES200-4P2F is an Unmanaged 4 Port Industrial PoE Switch with 2 Gigabit SFP Uplink Ports, built for IP cameras, wireless access points, intercom systems and other edge devices installed outside a standard server room. It combines four 10/100Mbps PoE copper ports with two 1000Base-X SFP fiber ports, giving installers a practical way to connect local powered devices while sending traffic back to a control room, cabinet or core switch over fiber.
For small surveillance or access-control deployments, the switch removes the need for separate PoE injectors at every endpoint. Each RJ45 port supports IEEE 802.3af/at and can provide up to 30W. The switch checks whether a connected device supports standard PoE before applying power, so a regular Ethernet terminal can be connected without the usual concern about accidental power delivery. Power is carried over the 1/2+ and 3/6- pairs.
Built for installation sites, not just indoor racks
Many edge cabinets face problems that office switches do not: unstable power, wide temperature changes, dust, moisture and limited space. This 4 Port Industrial PoE Switch uses an aluminum alloy housing and natural heat dissipation, with no fan to maintain or replace. It operates from -40°C to 85°C and accepts DC44-57V input. Two independent DC power inputs support redundant power connection, helping the network stay online if one supply path is interrupted.
Electrical protection is included for both power and data interfaces. The power circuit provides ±2KV differential-mode and ±4KV common-mode surge protection, while the data lines provide ±6KV differential-mode and ±6KV common-mode protection. These specifications are useful for outdoor camera poles, roadside cabinets, factory lines and other locations where cable runs may be exposed to electrical interference. They do not replace a site-specific grounding and surge-protection plan, but they add another layer of protection at the switch.
Simple deployment with useful field controls
This unmanaged industrial PoE switch works without a web interface or software license. Connect the fiber uplinks, plug in the copper devices and the switch starts forwarding traffic. Store-and-forward switching, 4.8Gbps non-blocking backplane bandwidth and line-rate forwarding help keep ordinary video, access-control and automation traffic moving without manual configuration.
A three-position DIP switch gives technicians practical options when a site needs them. The 10M mode can extend transmission on supported copper cabling up to 250m, while VLAN mode isolates ports T1-T4 from one another and still allows each port to communicate with the fiber uplink. This is useful when several cameras or access points should reach the network but should not exchange local traffic. AI_PoE enables an intelligent watchdog function on the copper PoE ports to help recover a connected powered device when communication stops responding.
With desktop, wall-mount and standard DIN-rail installation options, the IES200-4P2F fits control panels, security cabinets, factory equipment and compact communication boxes. It suits system integrators, facility teams and IT administrators who need straightforward PoE deployment, fiber distance between cabinets and dependable operation in harsh environments without adding configuration work to every installation.
