Where This Gigabit VLAN PoE 4 Port Switch Fits

The SG422P-BT3S is an unmanaged Gigabit VLAN PoE 4 Port Switch built for IP camera rollouts and small office networks. It gives you four 10/100/1000 PoE ports, two copper uplinks, and two SFP slots, so you can power cameras and still push traffic back to the core switch without adding another power injector.

Port 1 is the one to remember if you deal with PTZ cameras or outdoor units with heaters: it outputs up to 60W. Ports 2 through 4 provide up to 30W each. The total PoE budget sits at 120W, which is enough for a typical camera cabinet without overbuilding the power supply.

  • 60W on Port 1 for high-power cameras
  • VLAN toggle to keep broadcast traffic from jumping across ports 1-4
  • One-click 10M mode to extend PoE runs to 250m
  • AI-PoE mode to recover crashed IP cameras automatically

The VLAN toggle is a good example of practical design. It isolates Ports 1-4 from each other while keeping each one connected to the uplink ports. In a retail or hotel deployment, a faulty camera on one port will not flood the network and slow down POS transactions or guest Wi-Fi.

Installation is simple: mount it on a wall or leave it on a desk, plug in the fiber uplink if needed, and it runs. The metal case and built-in power supply handle heat well, and the surge protection gives extra confidence for outdoor camera runs.
